Perfect French Manicure?

I recently bought the Dior french manicure kit from the airport and tried it out on holiday. I could never paint the white tip on evenly. Any tips?

sometimes there are those stickers that you stick onto you nails to make the line, or you can just paint on the white and you can even it out by dipping a thin brush into nail polish remover and using it on your nail.
